Who's number one?

Category
In your typical I can piss further than you marketing type competition, October 18th Facetime claim to be #1, wait a day or two and Akonix claim they are the leader, do I hear a counter claim from Symantec/IMLogic??

Did you know we're the leading supplier of secure persistent chat rooms for Sametime, perhaps I should issue a press release

Steps taken October 19th, 11,342 walking back to the car last night the UNH ROTC were training in the woods so I had a to take a detour or risk getting shot, or something like that. Can I bank up steps to use on quiet walk days

Gravatar Image1 - noooo u must do 10 000 a day!! otherwise thats cheating!

Gravatar Image2 - Walking is good. But walking faster so you raise your heart rate a little is better. It would be better to do 2,000 with a heart rate that is slightly elevated into the fat burning range is better than 4,000 at a slow stroll. You are doing well and that is great. But you might want to think about having a focus number at a higher tempo. All that said I don't know if that would be the same for someone of your build.
I would suggest getting a HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) and talking to your doctor first. You get them in a watch now days.
Keep it going. We are all with you.

Gravatar Image3 - @2 Hi Sean, totally agree on the importance of heart rate as it relates to calorie usage and weight loss. Fortunately my walk to and from work is not flat with hilly areas etc. along the way, so the heart rate does get a fluctuatation in usage.
