Plantronics Enhances Real-Time Voice Collaboration for IBM Lotus Sametime 7.5 Business Users. Finally Sametime is getting traction with more 3rd party vendors, this is key to Sametime's future. To see companies like Plantronics announcing microphones that support Sametime and announcing that their software will be available for Sametime is just fantastic.

Gravatar Image1 - Can't agree more. Absolutely critical. These are the kinds of things they weren't doing in the past. Plantronics should also get added to the Sametime partners list on their website - if it hasn't been done already. That's also kind of important.

There is definitely an increase in 3rd party support for IBM stuff. Starting with version 8, Acrobat will finally integrate itself into the Notes environment - as far as I understand. Traditionally they've only added that kind of support for Office apps, not Notes.

Hopefully Hannover will be in the same ballpark as the job they've done with Sametime 7.5. Adding the productivity editors in Hannover was a good start for me.

Now go write some game changing plug-ins and make yourself a fortune :)
