My first Cross Country flight

Category
Today I did my first Cross Country flight since getting current with my license. The weather was perfect with nice fluffy clouds (that's a very popular aviation term), just high enough that I was still able to clear the mountains and be VFR (Visual Flight Rules) all the way.

I flew from Rochester NH -> Concord NH -> Lebanon NH -> Rochester NH, which works out to approx 150 miles, which took me 1 1/2 hours. A couple of points I was flying at the same altitude as the mountains at my side which is always fun, and Lebanon airfield is interesting as it's nestled right in a valley. Here's my route for anyone that's interested, going clockwise from Skyhaven on the right:

Gravatar Image1 - "Cross Country" - cripe, I thought you flew NH<-->CA. That would have been ambitious.

Gravatar Image2 - Plus it would be expensive and take a long time

Gravatar Image3 - Is that the bermuda triangle as there has not been an update to the site since?

Gravatar Image4 - OK, got it our of your system? Got your mojo back? Now can you please give this up!! As a stakeholder in your compnay, as a friend, and as a friend of your parents, we need you to stay on the ground where you are safe!!
