Easy Sametime Meeting test page access.

If you're having a Sametime meeting, it's a good idea to get people to test their browsers before they download. Obviosuly one way to this is to have them use the little test page I posted a few years back. But also it's a good idea for them to use the Sametime meeting test page as that will download all the applets onto their machine (often a stage that fails miserably), so by doing this prior to the meeting, you can try get the issue addressed prior to the meeting. Now for most people you get to the test meeting, by clicking attend a meeting, then clicking test meeting etc. on the left. Not exactly the easiest instructions to give someone for a simple test, so why not just give them the URL? Well the URL is hidden away in a javascript file, but to help you out, here it is:
http://<<Sametime Server Name>>/STsrc.nsf/AVWizardFramesetMC?OpenForm
So now the user can test their page using the meeting test page and get their applets installed.
If you're interested, typically when I send out a meeting invite, it contains the following information:
Meeting URL:
http://<<Sametime Server Name>>/stconf.nsf/meeting/73b857a626449838852571bf0051fdb8
Meeting Password:
MeetingPasswordHere
Please test your browser prior to the meeting at:
http://<<Sametime Server Name>>/testjvm/testjvm.htm
To ensure that the complete set of Meeting applets that are required are download, please attend this test meeting:
http://<<Sametime Server Name>>/STsrc.nsf/AVWizardFramesetMC?OpenForm
Conference Dial-in number is:
Toll Free: 1-800-615-xxxx
Toll: 1-719-867-xxxx
Passcode: xxxxxx
Now if you combine that with the instructions for emailing meeting invites contained in the IBM Redbook on building Sametime Enabled Applications, you won't even have to type it all in yourself.
