The Beginning and End

Category
I was thinking today, that the beginning and end of something is typically the hardest, most difficult or most complicated. It doesn't really matter what it is, I think it applies to almost anything.
  • Programming, the initial design and spec can be tricky, the actual coding in the middle is typically pretty easy and then deciding that it's finished can be pretty hard
  • Road trips, the most complicated bits are the beginning and the end, getting everyone in the car at the beginning is pretty hard, then you have a long drive on some roads but not many road changes, and then at the end there is a flurry with lots of turns to find your destination.
  • Flying, the takeoff is a high stress moment, once in flight things tend to be pretty uneventful, and then you have the landing, another stressful moment
  • Relationships, can be hard to get into one, once you're in one it tends to be fairly easy to keep it going (if you should so choose), then if you want it to end it can be pretty tricky

No moral to this post, just something I was thinking about.
