Did you feel like Lotusphere didn't have as much detail on Sametime and Quickplace as you would have liked?

Well it turns out there's a few Lotus Partners out there that thought exactly that. Many of us felt that Sametime and Quickplace were being short changed, and the products weren't being given enough coverage by the very company that created them. We also had feedback from our customers that they felt exactly the same way, so not being the kind of people that like to take things lying down we decided to address it. We've come together and we're pleased to announce a new conference Collaboration University.
Collaboration University is focused solely on Lotus Sametime and Quickplace so there is no distraction or sales push with other technologies. Coincidentally Sametime 7.5 is scheduled to ship right around the sametime (no pun intended) so it will also be a great way to get up to speed quickly with Sametime 7.5 by learning from those that have been running and developing on the product for a few months already.
The event will have a US (Kansas City) and European Venue (London). We're also trying a few things that haven't been done before, dinner with the speakers and speaker follow-up after the conference to address any questions you didn't get answered.
