4 - Feels wierd! Nothing to follow for two days!!

5 - Funny, I feel nothing. And yes, I knew you were Carl Tyler. Odd what happens to soccer types - a sort of addling process as the matches approach. I have seen the direct opposite on my many trips to Green Bay's Lambeau Field, home of the FOOTBALL'S Packers, where as game day approaches so to do the number of spelling bees, public debates and a host of other intellectual pursuits!

6 - Being extremely fortunate to live in Florida AND have a swimming pool (like I said, extremely fortunate) ...we've had multiple matches recorded each day, and have enjoyed watching several of them from the pool, cool drink in hand ...cable routed out a window to the pool area and a portable TV carried from inside. Some days have been too hectic to watch all of the matches, so we've had to pick one and watch highlights of others. Then last night .....what to do? Well I mowed the lawn, chatted with folks about France's (to me) surprising win over Spain, Ronaldo's brilliant plays, etc. .....but it's not the same. sigh. But the matches start back up tomorrow ....the quarters! What a weekend awaits!

7 - @6 Is television and pool in the same sentence safe?

8 - @7 The television by the pool was not my idea ...I'm not horribly keen on anything electronic near the pool (aside from our waterproof phone). But the tv is kept 1-2 meters away, and we're careful not to throw it in the water when we disagree with a call (we've been tempted, um, a time or two :)
