An anniversary of sorts...

It's hard to believe and sometimes I ask myself why, but today is my 10th anniversary of coming to the US to work in Lotus HQ. I've met lots of people, made some new friends and probably a few enemies.

Now to the World Cup, England continues to stumble forward, showing no footballing skill and very poor team play, but we're in the last 8. Germany look very strong and the home crowd can on;y help them move forward. There has been some great referring (not really), with lots of pretty coloured cards being shown.

i would love to watch a game, that doesn't have me gripping the arms of my chair, and waiting for the final whistle though!

Gravatar Image3 - Knowing our luck England will play a blinder and lose due to a bad refereeing decision. Its time FIFA changed the offside rule. Why not change the rule so that you can only be offside if within the penalty area. The linesman then might have a chhance of getting it right.
