It's going to be a busy Lotusphere...

What with sessions and Booth duty. Thank goodness I don't have those 6.30am press briefings like the old days. Just found out last night that Brett Van Gelder and I have had our Birds of a Feather sessions tentatively accepted also. The BOF is:

Would you like to connect with SIP but never knew who to ask?
You've heard it's possible to connect Sametime Communities, but you're not sure how or who you can connect to? This BOF will discuss how you can get SIPping with your partners, the problems you can expect to come across and how to resolve them. Who knows, you might even make contact with someone and exchange your SIP server details!

With Birds of a Feather session, IBM likes to try and get an idea of how many people are likely to attend. So if this is a session you think you might go to, would like to go to, please post a comment in response to this post. Thanks!

Gravatar Image1 - Carl, we should talk -- I have a production Asterisk PBX and do a lot with SIP and the better IAX2 protocol for connection. I could allocate a telephone number and SIP phone for the BOF, and we could see Sametime tied to the telephone system.

Gravatar Image2 - Carl.. me too. I could resurrect my old Sametime SIP gateware (http://sip.pmooney.net) and offer it for anyone to test connections

Gravatar Image3 - Count me in.

Gravatar Image4 - Count me too!
