but to be honest I don't really care. Cricket is one of those games, like baseball, that is more fun to play than watch. I do admit though, there is always some pleasure in beating the Ozzies, damn criminals need to keep them in their place

2 - Ordinarily I'd agree re the thrill of cricket, but actually, this series was really good. Hats off to both sides for making cricket fun

Channel 4 have done a good job with the coverage too.

4 - @2 - agreed - this series was really good - except for the result of course.

The series has been regarded as one of the best of recent years - a win to the English is probably just what Australian cricket needed. There was a great risk here in Australia that it wasn't going to be shown on TV because the channels didn't see any value in it. In the end, it's the Special Broadcasting Service who picked it up and it's turned out to be a corker...

Heartful thanks and many congratulations on single-handedly uniting a totally disinterested country in a mind-numbingly boring game with your inaccurate and arrogant predictions of a 5-0 test white wash. Nothing like raising our hackles to bring out the best in the British Bulldog and get us right behind something we usually ignore- ask the French.....

why isnt cricket on the US TV networks........More cricket would mean less repeats day after day after day.....
