When I was in Paris I noticed a distinct difference between the European Media coverage of Iraq and the US coverage. In the European Media the suicide bombers were referred to as "Insurgents" and in the US media they were referred to as "Terrorists". In the last few weeks though, the US Media no longer refers to them as terrorists but now also refers to them as insurgents. I find this most interesting as over the weekend it was revealed the Pentagon has meetings with the Insurgents, which is a good thing as we all know President bush has said they will not discuss anything with terrorists.
