Here's another new product that needs testers. This one came to me when I was doing an on-line presentation for a customer and wanted to take some notes and check my agenda whilst I was doing the screenshare. Instant Meeting Assistant is a companion for Lotus Sametime and WebEx meetings. It allows you to display an agenda, speaker notes for your slides or jot down to-do items as they occur in the meeting and it also includes a screen highlighter so you can do a "Monday Night Football" on your screen to draw attention to things you may be showing or demoing. But the really nice thing is that whilst you can see the notes and to-dos, it is not visible to other people who are watching your presentation on-line. So you can fill in items, read your speaker notes, without having to do any funky window layouts or only sharing part of your screen.

So for example you may see this:

Notice the tabbed application on the right side and the highlighted portion of the screen on the left.

But the users attending the meeting just see this:

Notice the meeting attendee can see the highlighted area but cannot see the tabbed application on the right.

What's also nice is that the Meeting Assistant doesn't hide the data underneath, so if you're show a PowerPoint slide, you can still see the meeting assistant and the slide and the attendee can just see the presentation with no obstruction from the Meeting Assistant as can be seen here:
