Microsoft Live Meeting 2005 API
March 2005
This API Reference Guide is intended for engineers, developers, and programmers who will design, implement, and test software that uses the Microsoft® Office Live Meeting 2005 API. You should have a basic familiarity with HTTP and XML.

The Live Meeting 2005 software includes an applications programming interface for using external programs to perform some of the functions available through the Live Meeting 2005 user interface. To interact with the API, clients make an API request by submitting an HTTP request to the Live Meeting 2005 front-end. Each request contains an XML document describing the operation to be performed. An XML document returned from the request describes the outcome of the request.

The HTTP request makes it really easy for external apps to create a Live Meeting. Would be really easy to enable applications like Notes, SmartSuite whatever really. A nice way to make this available. Also makes it really easy to skin your own conferencing system knowing what calls are available to you.
