A few observations about Paris and France

Category
Here are a few things I have noticed since my move to Paris
  • It's not just in the movies, every other person walking down the street really does have a bagette under their arm.
  • Chinese takeaways don't make the food fresh, they have it all on display then microwave what you want and hand it over
  • Un-eaten bagettes go stale over night here just the same way
  • A green crossing signal does not mean cars wont come at you at high speed
  • The Metro works as advetised, honest it does, amazing really
  • People either love dogs or hate them, some people wll be excited to see the dog, others will cross the street to avoid it
  • They have some great street markets, loads of fresh food, cheese, meats and wines etc.

Gravatar Image1 - I spent some time in Paris and I must say I did like the food. I actually lived on panini's the entire time. I highly recommend trying one.

but the food does sound great but maybe not the chinese

Gravatar Image3 - Since when did you move to Paris? I guess I must have missed something.

Gravatar Image4 - Re your comment on green crossing signals not meaning cars don't come at you at high speed, here is the famous joke about French traffic:

There are 2 types of pedestrian in Paris: the quick and the dead...

Gravatar Image5 - Have you been deported again!?
