So I know I bitched about this and I know a few others did, we even sent a few letters. I like to give credit where credit is due, and IBM/Lotus has revised their policy concerning exhibitor/demo badges for Lotusphere, good on you folks!

Important News for Exhibitors and Sponsors at Lotusphere 2005

The partner community isn't shy! The feedback about the changes in 2005 has been loud. After careful consideration, we are modifying what is included with the Demo Only badge. The Demo Only badge will now include access to the following three conference events:

Sunday Night Welcome Reception
Monday morning Opening General Session
Wednesday night Special Event


The Demo Only badge (yellow plastic badge inside a clear badge holder) does not include access to any meals (other than the two special events mentioned above and the Product Showcase Reception), does not include access to break out sessions and does not include access to Lotusphere Online.

Please help us make access to these conference events as smooth as possible. Admittance by badge actually means wearing your badge in its badge holder. Conference credentials means 'the combination of the plastic badge and the badge holder'; wearing this unit in view is part of our overall event security plan. So, as you plan to attend the party on Sunday night, the Opening General Session on Monday morning and the party on Wednesday night, please wear your full badge in view.

Orange County Sheriffs, IBM Event Security and our badge checkers will be briefed accordingly. We want your experience at Lotusphere to be smooth and productive, and need your help.
