I bet you didn't even realise I've been gone. Been very busy with work, dog and all sorts of things. To anybody that was wondering, I did not get married in Vegas, and I did not win big, so I still have to work for a living, I did get to play craps with a very good Kevin Costner look alike, and on the flight back Kevin Pollak was sitting in first class. The last few weeks have been spent suffering through Sametime and LDAP hell. Many things that are taken for granted with the Sametime on Domino Directory are very very different when hitting an LDAP server. It does not appear to scale as well as the Domino Directory implementation, and if you want Sametieme clients to display items as they did when you were using the Domino Directory, you're going to need to create some Java classes, fill in some funky fields etc. I'll add more about these in the coming weeks.

I did a few geocaches with the dog down in New Jersey, and today I hid my first geocache. My brother in-law will have to come over and see if he can find this one with the kids.

It's amazing how the countryside around here has changed in the three weeks I was gone.The leaves have fallen, there's been the first snow and my walks feels like totally different places.
