Frontline on PBS

Category
There was a show on PBS last night called "The Choice: 2004", what wass interesting about this show for me was that it showed part of the speech John Kerry gave when he voted on the Iraq war, it's interesting because it's something you very rarely seen covered, you just hear that he voted for the war and therefore he is a flip flopper now, but when you see what he actually said prior to giving his vote, you can see he was spot on, it's a long speech, but this Independants for Kerry site calls out a few key items of it: It's interesting how journalist do little to any investigation of what people say anymore. I am sick of sound bite journalism, go do some investigating for a change!!!

Gravatar Image1 - I saw a bit of that show, but missed that part. It's pretty sad that the media doesn't check on things like this, but it's also sad that Kerry and his handlers haven't been able to be more effective in countering the flip-flop charges. "Read my speech from 9 October 2002" is all he needs to say. The media would do the rest.
