It's going to be interesting to see how Tony Blair

Category
comes out of the sad situation with the hostages in Iraq. With British hostage Kenneth Bigley's very personal appeal to Mr Blair, I'm wondering how the British public will react. Is this going to have people blaming Tony Blair more or the Iraqi Kidnappers. Either way, I hope Mr Bigley ends up all right, and any other hostage for that matter. One thing that was interesting was that the Iraqi's who are now in "charge" of Iraq stated they would release one of the women and one hour later the coalition which is now "supporting" the Iraqi leaders came out and said they wouldn't. Hhhmm, we're told the Iraqis are now in charge of their own destinies but the actions seem a little different. I don't envy Tony Blair, that has to make it very hard to sleep with such a directed personal appeal. Anyway, fingers crossed that all ends well for the Bigley's.
