Things have become super busy at work, which is a good thing. I read an article the other day that said enterprise IM is not being taken up very quickly, what world is that author living on? The Notes 6.5.1 bundling of IM has been a stroke of genius, even if it was an obvious inclusion, we are seeing customers deploy Sametime servers now because they get IM for "free", it's almost like a trick Microsoft would pull. Now if they bundle SmartSuite for free with Notes, they might actually impact the Microsoft bottom line. So this along with customers realizing that there is a value in enterprise IM is really helping us.
On top of work, my parents are visiting, and the new arrival of the dog (who is less trouble than my parents), and you'll appreciate why there has been less blogging. The dog is doing great, she can swim now, which is a good thing, and at the weekend I introduced her to the local beach.
Watching my parents I have come to the conclusion that old people don't get become deaf, they just speak softer to each other, always leading to misunderstanding or "what?" or "I can't hear you!". Still it's fun to have them here, and it gets the house nice and clean.
Note to my sister, the washing machine has not been moved, so you lose the bet.
