Funny Notes has been here for years: Is your client rich?. No mention of IBM in this article. I have actually heard of a few startups that are using Flash and even Adobe as their runtime engine. Something like 90% of machines have Adobe Acrobat and Flash, so a pretty readily installed runtime engine out there.
