Euro2004 is now officially underway, yeah!!! First results in , Portugal 1 - Greece 2 (bit of an upset that one) and Spain 1 - Russia 0.

My prediction for England’s game tomorrow against France? England will beat France, English people will get all excited about how they can win this thing, and then fail to win their next two games and get knocked out during the first round. Pessimistic or realistic? It’s a close call.

Little correction : Spain won 1-0 against Russia

About France-England, i can not imagine France loosing against England. Therefore i would say your prediction is not realistic

My prediction is that France will win all games till the 4th of July
I might be dreaming or i'm just too enthusiastic

Gravatar Image3 - Well it had to happen, Golden B****'s penalty is saved. Too easy for Bartez. The French must truley think the gods are on their side and will go on to play some devastating football. I just can't believe Sven and Becks view that England played well. Sure first half but second half France devoured them and honestly deserved to win. England just couldn't keep the ball and will not progresses far in the tournament. The Croatia / Swiss game was terrble so there might be some hope yet but it will be an early bath for the England squad. so no
