Drove down to New Jersey this afternoon to spend a couple of days with a customer. I was flying down, and traffic was great until I hit New York, then everything came to a screeching halt for about 1 hour until I popped out the other side.
I had a flash back coming down the New Jersey Turnpike to about 18 years ago when we lived in Poughkeepsie. How did the NJ turnpike cause a flashback to Poughkeepsie? Well our next door neighbor ran his own roofing company and he had a contract to reroof the toll booths. So one day in the summer of 96 I went down with him to hammer in a few nails. I wondered as I drove past it if it was the same roof still that I helped put down. Without climbing up to have a look there was no easy way for me to tell.
