Peter's Birthday

Category
It was my nephew Peter's birthday yesterday; I didn't forget to wish him a happy birthday I just didn't get back from Boston until late. For his birthday I actually gave him something I have had for a number of years and has been a life long friend, no not my belly. I decided to give him my Cornet which must be somewhere around 26 years old now. I never really play it anymore so it would be great to see someone else using it. It's funny how if you take music seriously you can become very attached to your musical instrument. It's something that you have for years and years, and if someone should ever say something bad about it, God forbid.

My sister once came up with the idea that I give my violin to my Niece, now it's not that I'm selfish and don't want to share or anything, but my violin is going nowhere! Probably if I was flat broke, everything else in my house would be sold but my violin would still be sitting there.

For many years I was like that with my LEGO technical, but I eventually gave it to a friends kids. When those kids grow up I'm getting it back I tell you.
