Went fishing with the Nieces and Nephew today.

We caught no fish, but we might have caught colds, as the local crazy English people we went fishing in the rain, which turned into bloody freezing rain. We did meet a guy from some government river agency who introduced us all to Smelts eggs, which they were out counting today for a study, I was all prepared to show my shiny new fishing license but it turns out I don't need don;t the end of my street, as the river there is tidal and more importantly salt water, so I don't need a license and I can actually fish year round if I was crazy enough to. He was kind enough to give some fishing tips and suggested I put more effort to catching some Stripers in May that come in shore around that time of year. It might conflict a little with my trip to England, but I think it could be something to try after work a few nights.
