What a girl wants...

Ah if only I knew, but that's beside the point. Last night whilst preparing the house for the arrival of my sister and her clan I had the movie "What a girl wants" on in the background, which can best be described as a father/daughter coming of age movie, quite cute but zero thinking involved. Anyway the interesting thing about this move was the house that they used, I recognized the house straight away as a house in West Wycombe near to where I grew up, just on the edge of the green belt around London. What was interesting was they tried to make this house look like it was in the middle of London, some shots they had a Double Decker bus going across in the background of a shot and some London Taxis. If I hadn't known the house and was a tourist, I may have decided to walk around London and try and find it, I would have been looking for a while. Some of the film was also filmed at RAF Halton, but I couldn't make out which bits they were, I'm sure my brother could watch it and point it out straight away with all the time he's spent there.
