Back from the big apple.

Category
Got back last night from New York, a short yet useful trip. When I was sitting on the bus it reminded me of bus trips to school everyday, on our bus there were two places that were cool to sit, either at the very front or the very back of the bus (back was even cooler), anywhere in between was for sad people; was this just our school bus or was it everyone's?

Sitting on the bus I also thought how useful a tablet PC would be for plane and bus trips. No room to open your PC on most planes, without the person in front crushing your screen (I have lost a thinkpad screen this way), with a tablet PC, the thing could just sit on your lap, otherwise I don't think I could use a tablet PC all the time, as I actually think I type faster than write, and imagine trying to write code with a pen?

Bruce Elgort just wrote a nice little bit in his blog about the upcoming Instant TeamMessenger for Office, I guess he forgot he signed an NDA

Gravatar Image1 - Nah, at least in my town, the front of the twinkie was the absolute worst spot. The farther front of the 'twink you sat, the less cool you were.

And we can't forget the obligatory kid in the very back seat with the boombox playing Whitesnake.
