Following last years win with the Rising Star award, we won the 2004 Lotus Award (formerly Beacon) for Best Tool/Utility. I have to say, I am really surprised, I know Instant Agent Framework is really powerful in it's ease of use and rapid deployment features, but sometimes when you are so close to something you miss the whole value in it, kind of like IBM and Domino, sorry Ed couldn't resist . I genuinely thought Trilog were going to win with their product that converts Domino apps to J2EE as it fits so well with the whole IBM strategy moving forward, so today's news was a fantastic surprise.

If I wasn't on this diet, I'd be well on the way to getting hammered right now, but I feel pretty good without the booze anyway.

I was really pleased to see Granite Software recognised for SpamJam and also Steve Churchill of Preffered Partner, Steve really helped us at Instant Technologies in the early months and is a great resource for partners that would like to get some recognition for selling IBM/Lotus software.
