Finally, I have finished clearing the snow

Category
Looks like my observation on the fat squirrels was correct, cos boy have we been dumped on with snow. The flat areas around my house were about 2 feet deep, and the drifts were anywhere up to 8 feet. Remember the snowman that's sitting out front, well now only his head is showing.

Living across the road from me is an old woman, I figure she has to be about 80, anyway, she is one of those old people that sees negative in everything, kids are terrified of her, and if you should happen to park your car outside the front of her house, you better be prepared for a full verbal attack, and a possible beating with her cane. Anyway, today the target of her attention was me. When you get as much snow as we had over the last two days there are very few places you can put it, so I took a two stage approach, first dump it in the middle of the road, and then move it over to the side of the road where the snow ploughs are dumping their snow. Needless to say the woman over the road decided that this is not what you are supposed to do. So I took the best approach and totally ignored her.

Just to make her feel really guilty for being such a miserable old cow I did my boy scout good deed for the day and cleared her steps and path, now she is extremely grateful and I'm golden.

The flat areas around my house ARE about 2 feet deep, and the drifts ARE up to 8 feet. Remember the snowman that's sitting out front, well now only his head is showing.

Gravatar Image2 - Well, because of that storm, I'm currently stranded in your homecountry, having to spend 6 hours at LHR, I decided to hop on a cab, and spend a few hours with my old mates in Staines where I'm writting this comment from. Let's try to get together later this week. I'm supposed to get into Logan later tonight.

Gravatar Image3 - Now you're gonna have to do that every time it snows.

Gravatar Image4 - Dad WERE is a perfectly good tense for this posting. They are past tense because I cleared all the snow. So they no longer ARE

Gravatar Image5 - I expected and deserved that one Where's the weight chart
