How are my mice?

The mice, the ones I said I heard, the ones who showed their face.
No longer do they scratch and gnaw, they've vanished without a trace.
I think all those Cat in The Hat promotions must be getting to me. Anyway, I think my mice must have read this blog and scampered, as I have not seen, heard or caught any. In fact the only thing the mouse trap has caught so far is my thumb. So the good news is, my Weapons of Mouse Destruction have so far been a great deterrent to the invading forces. For the time being the WMDs will stay deployed, until it is considered safe.
