Here's a good rumour I heard just before I went away to the Caymans, "Sametime" may be in for another name change, yes as if one name change wasn't stupid enough, IBM shows it's great marketing prowess by confusing everyone by planning another name change, rumour has it the name will be something really creative like: Lotus Workplace Realtime.

I wonder when they'll realise that it isn't the name that sells product, but customers having a faith in the people that sell it to them, all these name changes do not give great confidence, I often believe that Microsoft wins so often not because they're smart, but the people they are competing with make stupid mistakes...lets see how long it takes for Office Live to overtake Sametime, IBM Lotus Instant Messaging or whatever it's called in corporate accounts. This week I will definitely blog my feelings on the IBM all my eggs in the unproven WorkPlace basket, as I do feel that I need to say something about it.

Also following on from one of Joel's blogs last week, are there any potential customers in Denmark that would like me to come and visit?
