American Imports...

Category
To expand a little on my earlier entry, I got to thinking about the American Imports we used to get and watch as kids, so here they are, the ones I enjoyed anyway:
  • Banana Splits
  • Hair Bear Bunch
  • Hong Kong Fooey
  • Spiderman - Hhhm do I post the picture of me in my spidey costume? NO
  • Scooby Doo
  • Hanna Babara Cartoons
  • Bionic Man
  • Wonder Woman
  • Josie and the Pussy Cats
  • Starsky and Hutch
  • Battlestar Galactica
  • Star Trek re-runs
I am sure there are some more, but I can't remember them all, it's not like I watched much TV really.

oh and to Ed and Richard, when I said I watched Dr Who I meant as a kid, ie about 8-14, and I can tell you in those early years Dr Who had my sister and I hiding behind the Sofa many many times; having seen a few on PBS being a little older and not much wiser, I can't understand why I found a man in a wetsuit wearing a mask coming out of the sea so scary? Also what is it with Americans and their love for terrible shows like "Are you being served?"?

Gravatar Image1 - What about Tom and Jerry? I remember when I visited my relatives in Japan when I was a teenager and watched Tom and Jerry on the tube. It was hilarious and wonderful watching Tom and Jerry speak Japanese!

Gravatar Image2 - I had mentioned Tom and Jerry in my previous blog

Gravatar Image3 - DOH!
