Could George W Bush be a great lobster chef?

QuickImage Category
Normally I try and avoid politics, as Americans (broad generalization) lately do seem to take any opinion that points out George Bush's faults as an attack on themselves, this by the way is a great difference between the UK and the US, in the UK it is quite alright to point out the huge mistakes the leadership makes, here people take it as a personal insult (which it isn't), anyway back to my point.

Now I may have this wrong, but I seem to remember Douglas Adams talking about cooking a lobster, or was it a frog?

Anyway, the deal was, you put the lobster in the pot and then start to boil the water, so the lobster is sitting there, constantly thinking, hhm this water is nice, and it's getting warmer. hhm now I come to think of it, I think it was a frog, the deal was why doesn't a frog jump out of the pot when being cooked, and it's because it's done gradually. so the frog never realizes it's screwed and doesn't jump out of the pot.

So how does this relate to George W? Well think of the American public as the frog, and George Bush is boiling the water, now he doesn't give you a sudden huge request for money, no he eeks them out month by month, so it doesn't seem so bad, then before you know it you've been boiled.

Talking of things George Bush , ok I will stop...otherwise I'll be in big trouble.

Gravatar Image1 - Carl, I could point you to dozens of blogs that are highly critical of GWB. Maintained by good ol' red-blooded Americans. Campaign season is upon us. He's fair game

Gravatar Image2 - Well I would like to think he is fair game, and I know there are lots of blogs, but people take it very differently when it comes from an American vs a Foreigner, just look at Freedom Fries as an example
