PCMag review of Kubi Software

QuickImage Category
I have a number of friends that work at Kubi Software so I was excited to see their product recently reviewed in PC Mag, where it got 4/5 stars. It has an interesting approach to collaboration, tying itself into the Outlook and Notes e-mail clients, and using SMTP as it's transfer protocol. We found some things about a little irritating in a POP3 environment, but we were on some early betas.

For small companies that want to have discussions and share files then Kubi is nice and easy to setup and use. It doesn't have the power of Lotus Notes, but then it doesn't claim to, for what it claims to do, it does pretty well. We've been using it since their early betas to ensure that Instant TeamMessenger would provide awareness for Kubi Items. We were able to invite people from other companies into our spaces just by knowing their internet email address, and not having to worry about firewall configuration etc. So for many people this product would probably meet many of their collaboration needs.
