Weekend's over..

QuickImage Category
Sunday was spent driving to and around Cape Cod. Cape Cod is a gorgeous part of the country, with stunning beaches and lots of very quaint houses. It's always an interesting experience to drive through Provincetown.

So my thought for the day today is why do American ATMs (cash points) ask for a decimal amount when asking how much you want to withdraw? The stupid machine can't give out change, so why does it even ask? I would have put this down to a stupid programmer somewhere, but every US ATM seems to do it, and I don't think every banks ATM was programmed by the same person? UK cash points aren't like this, and in my world travels I didn't notice it in any other countries, although getting a million from the ATM in Greece was pretty interesting.

Gravatar Image1 - Well, it may be the majority, but not all of our ATMs do that. Every once in a while I find one that doesn't -- and usually the way I find out is that it tells me that I'm not allowed to withdraw $10,000.
