RoboMaid - taken Europe by storm!

Category

or so the commercial goes, this infomercial has been running on the hotel TV channels all weekend, I like it when they say "Robo Maid has taken Europe by storm", so please tell me, how many people in Europe have even seen this piece of junk over there?

RoboMaid

The other very popular items on the Hotel TV station the last few weeks have been Vazoplex and the natural bra.  Both products I am sure work flawlessly, or your money back.

Gravatar Image2 - A similar 'intelligent' cleaning robot has been disassembled here:

Gravatar Image3 - A ha, Natural Bra and Robomaid must be the same people...Look at the mixup on their robomaid website...

So girls remember, "You should use fresh adhesive strips (tape) each time you use your NaturalBra. " and "For maximum adhesion, it is highly recommended that you clean the inside of the cups with rubbing alcohol prior to the first use of your NaturalBra. Allow it to dry before applying the adhesive tape"

and to think people buy this crap.

Gravatar Image4 - Oh, you guys are so cynical! These would make great gag gifts!

Gravatar Image5 - how can i buy here in europe spain the robomaid, because all offers are for united states, can you help ma please

Gravatar Image6 - I saw the RoboMaid ad on tv whilst visiting California last week and would love one of these toys - I am guessing more gimmick than an alternative to the vacuum hoover, however,it looks fun.

However, I've done a thorough search of "European" internet sites and can not find anywhere selling it. Perhaps I'll apply for the English franchise,

Mike

Gravatar Image7 - I thought it looked like a fun toy and was reasonably priced at $10 so I ordered one. I like gadgets and thought I might try some experiments with attaching swiffer sheets to it. I also wanted to see how well it would work and deduce the programmatic strategy. I have two complaints/warnings with the telephone ordering: (1) They wait until they get your credit card number before offering a deal on additional pads, the amount goes by fast, and they do not repeat it. It is easy to miss. (2) They do not announce the total of the order at the end.

Gravatar Image8 - I thought even if the Robomaid was junk, for $10.00 + s/h, it would make a fun cat toy. Imagine my surprise when I received the shipment & saw I had been charged $74.87! Upon calling for an explanation, I was told that "the computer autmatically ships extra pads". Complete scam.

Gravatar Image9 - Much the same happened to me as depicted by Peter on 10-10-04..no info given on phone until after credit card info was taken. Later, when I wanted to determine what I had been charged, I was unable to find out .. the number I was given and called kept me on hold for more that an hour and a half.T he amount I was then billed was not the amount reflected on the shipping invoice. What a rip off.

Gravatar Image10 - Some weeks ago I placed an order for ROBOMAID. I received my order today. Much to my dismay on examining my packing slip, my credit card has been charged a whooping $74.87. Of course they say your money will be promptly refunded on merchandise less s & h. Dah, that's not much of a refund. I am sending back the junk along with a certified letter to the Attorney General and my credit card co. I had similar pproblems with video professior some months ago.

Gravatar Image11 - thanks, folks. i wondered about this, and on your collective experience and advice, i'm going to pass...

Gravatar Image12 - I have just returned from Vegas wher I saw the Robo Maid at a friends house. I could'nt resist ordering one from "As seen on t.v.My friends are forwarding it to me if and when it arrives with them.I will let you know if I have been ripped off with the S/H or the $10 cost plus spare pads.By the way I have never heard of the product in England and am unable to find any reference on the webb in Europe. Thank you America for a great holiday! P.S. for those of you tecnos who might be wondering how I was going to recharge it on the British 220 volts, I figured plugging it into my shaver socket with 120 volts might do it.Watch this bang!

Gravatar Image13 - If you look for Robomaid in Europe, you must look for the name Robomop. (The homepage is www.robomop.net). In Korea it is called Roboimoyo. It is not that bad. I love it!!! Of course I do.
