Microsoft plans to offer an XP Lite in asia

I believe Microsoft is going to have to do a lot more than XP Lite to compete against software piracy and Linux in Asia. I think they're going to have to offer more for less to win. Disabling features in an OS to reduce the price is crazy, but limiting screen resolution and the number of active applications? XP Lite aka big flop.
